Okay, bear with me as I combine like three separate prompts, okay?

Black-haired!Red and brown-haired!Red are separate people. We'll call the second one FireRed for the time being, just to keep things easier. It's up to you, but in my mind, they're brothers (or maybe half-brothers), and Leaf isn't related.

FireRed, who is much younger than Red, grew up looking up to the older trainer. However, as time went on, he found that others kept comparing him to his role model / brother - which didn't turn out favorably. His mom, Prof. Oak, the Gym leaders, Green... he ended up being left behind and rejected.

So FireRed decided to start over as a new trainer in the region Unova.

Except, he can't escape his past. Someone (Leaf, Green, Red...?) is following him...
