And Cilan is fanboying over another one of his mancrushes, when Burgundy sees an opportunity to show him up and embarrass him. Perhaps as revenge for beating her in a previous battle or unknowingly showing her up in some way.
And whatever she does works.
Way better than she meant it to.
And Cilan ends up humiliated in front of everyone, and they laugh, not to be mean but because it was pretty funny. But then they are kind of mortified when he starts to tear up and get upset, then he turns on Burgundy and tells her off, being honest in the most blunt and brutal way and storms off.
And then reactions happen.
tldr: Burgundy accidentally goes overboard and humiliates Cilan and he tells her off.
